About my Trip
On May 15th 2024, I will be traveling from Alesund to the Capital of PNG. I will be in the country for 20 days. I will be joining a Dental Trailer Outreach that provides care for children that have never seen a dentist before. There is proximity one dentist for every 100,000 people in PNG. I will be filming this outreach, creating a short film that documents the hardship, the hope and the need of this situation. An Outreach team of students from our campus will also be there, allowing me to get footage that will help show what our campus is doing. I will also be helping out in practical ways with organizing and supporting the health professionals on site. I am excited to return to PNG, and am excited to tell the stories of the people there. The outreach will finish on June 1st, and I will return to Alesund on June 3rd.

On December 29th 2023 I landed in Ålesund, Norway to start the next chapter in my life, Staffing for YWAM. Last year I had the opportunity to do a 5 month school with Youth With a Mission. Youth With a Mission or YWAM, is a Global nonprofit organization focused on sending young people out into the Nations to share the gospel. In September of 2022 I spent 3 Months here in Ålesund Norway growing in my faith and preparing to go out. In December 2022, I left for Papua New Guinea, spending 2 months sharing the gospel and empowering local Christians.
In the Summer of 2023 I made the commitment to come back to the YWAM campus in Ålesund Norway to invest in young people through Staffing. I have committed to stay here for all of 2024.
During my school in late 2022, I felt the Lord calling me to spend more time here in Norway. Through the next few months He showed me how my creative passions can be used to further the kingdom of God. Through the impact my school had on me, he showed me how I can invest in future schools and be a part in making significant change in my generation. I strongly believe the Lord has called me to back to this place for this season to use my passions in digital art to make a difference.
Here on campus I am currently involved in 2 key areas. I am part of the media team and I run a photography focus for students. As part of the media team I am involved with running our campuses social media, website, and overall branding. I get the opportunity to share with the public all that God is doing in our students here and in the nations. For 10 Hours weekly I co-lead a photography course where students can learn the many facets of the craft. We teach on the techniques and on how we can co-create with the Lord and use the gifts He's given us to glorify Him. While these are my main focuses, I also get the privilege to invest in the students, our community, and a local prison.
